For me Yoga is a tool of finding balance. In the physical sense and in the broader sense. As a hobby I try and get out at least once a week on my slackline. This is a fantastic physical and meditative practice which requires deep concentration. There are many great metaphors for living which pop into my mind as I walk on the line. One of pieces of advice I give to me self while walking the slackline is: "when you start to wobble and feel unstable, take a step forward and find your balance." This extends into my daily life, especially on those days where I feel insecure/uncertain/anxious. Sometimes making an action or a choice is all I need to get out of that state of paralysis. But I also have to remind myself that it is ok to fall and for things to fall apart because I can always get back on the line and have another go!
